In science, we stress the importance of preserving biological diversity in the local environment. In physical education, students engage in collaborative movement activities, learn orienteering in nature using maps and digital tools, and explore local cultures for outdoor experiences, all while respecting common laws during their nature travels.
Beauty of Music
In our community we want to make a Christmas concert for the inhabitants at Sviland. After the covid periode, we need to come together. We want to make people happy and find joy in a busy time.
Beauty of Nature
We want to make the local community aware of the nice local forrest “Tusenårsskogen”. We want them to be aware of : How can we develop, promote and preserve the beauty of nature in our community? People will go out in the nature and will be aware of the nice park “The 1000 Years forrest”. The inhabitants will be aware how to preserve the biological diversity explain the importance of biological diversity in the local community.
Beauty of Food
Our village there are a lot of new houses and settlers. We want to arrange for a social gathering in our village to get to know each other better. We arranged a cafe and welcomed all the inhabitants in Sviland.We want more people to get out into the fresh air, be social, get the experience of having a good conscience and experience unity in the local community again.
Beauty of Myself & Others
This project aims to help families and children in our community. In particular, we want to help families that cannot afford buying Christmas gifts for their children. We decided to collect gifts (secondhand clothes, board games, teddy bears etc.) from all the students in our school. We received a lot of gifts, probably around 300. The gifts were sorted and wrapped, and handed over to the Salvation Army (Frelsesarmeen). This week, the Salvation Army will give out the gifts we collected to children. We hope that this project will contribute to making Christmas fun and exciting for all the children in our beautiful community, regardless of their family’s social and economic background.
